Cognos, a leader in business intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management, and OpenPages, a top provider of enterprise governance, risk and compliance management solutions, have extended their initial technology agreement to deliver enhanced compliance dashboard and reporting capabilities for OpenPages customers.

OpenPages CommandCenter helps organizations increase productivity by providing greater awareness of potential risk exposures through dynamic, graphical views into the current state of their internal controls framework for more effective support of governance, risk and compliance initiatives including Sarbanes-Oxley.

Under the agreement, OpenPages' CommandCenter for SOX Express now includes embedded reporting through Cognos ReportNet. Cognos ReportNet offers a complete, pure Web-based enterprise query and reporting environment, rich multi-dimensional analysis and visualization, a complete environment for ad-hoc and managed reporting, event management and data integration--all built on a services-oriented architecture.
