As the incoming President of the Wyoming State Bar, I am honored to introduce an ongoing series of reflections entitled "Coffee with Craig," dedicated to celebrating the lives and careers of Wyoming's most esteemed attorneys aged 80 and older. My purpose in writing this series is to honor their exceptional service, glean wisdom from their experiences, and connect their remarkable journey to the future of our legal profession. Just as Abraham Lincoln once said, "The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see," these stories serve as a bridge—linking the rich history of Wyoming's legal landscape with the promise of continued growth and integrity. We start this series honoring the oldest active member of the Wyoming State Bar—Netta Bell Girard of Riverton.
