The authors, a couple with complementary coaching and consulting backgrounds, note in an introduction that their methodology--Coaching That Counts is a trademarked name--seeks to marry the personal dynamics of coaching with actual return on investment (ROI) from a corporate perspective. They've organized the book into three basic "lynchpins:" adopt a consistent and proven approach for executive coaching; effectively manage the coaching initiative; and build evaluation methodology. Each is then explored in a series of sub-themes, often using anonymous, first-person examples developed from the authors' own experiences.
