Clickstop plans new distribution center in Simpsonville.

Fortuitous geography is bringing another distribution center to the Upstate.

Clickstop Inc. of Urbana, Iowa, said opening the company's first location outside of headquarters will enable the company to bump the number of U.S. companies reachable in one to two days from 60% to 80%, according to a news release.

Clickstop's second location will be a 47,000-square-foot warehouse at 370 Old Laurens Road in Simpsonville. It will mean 12 new jobs for the community, the news release said.

"With our expansion to the East Coast, we will be able to reach nearly 80% of the U.S. within one to two business days, which is a gamechanger," Allen DeHeck, vice president of supply chain for Clickstop, said in the release. The location also means additional inventory capacity and reduced freight cost, the company said.
