FEE ARBITRATORS - Since the launch of the Wyoming State Bar’s new Fee Arbitration Program in 2016, 45 lawyers and 7 non-lawyers have agreed to serve as arbitrators, but more are needed. REFERRALS

LAWYER REFERRAL SER-VICE - Is your law firm flooded with calls from potential clients you just can’t take on at the moment? Please refer these people to the Wyoming State Bar Lawyer Referral Service! This service is made up of approximately 150 lawyers from around the state who pay the membership fee and provide evidence of malpractice insurance coverage to receive these referrals. The Lawyer Referral Coordinator screens each call to determine the practice area 60 Wyoming Lawyer June 2020 and area of the state before referring the caller to three potential members.

Please refer any potential client you are unable to assist to the Wyoming State Bar Lawyer Referral Service at (307) 432-2107. The members of the Lawyer Referral Service will thank you for the referrals!

MODEST MEANS PROGRAM - The Wyoming State Bar is recruiting lawyers for the Modest Means Program. The Modest Means Program (MMP) is a reduced fee referral program. The Wyoming State Bar recognizes the large unmet legal need in Wyoming communities. The MMP will help fill the gap by making legal services accessible to lower and moderate income people who are ineligible for legal aid. Participating attorneys would agree to charge the client no more than a $500 retainer and $75 per hour. Filing fees and other out-of-pocket costs would be paid by the client. It is free to sign up.
