ARBITRATORS - Since the launch of the Wyoming State
Bar’s new Fee Arbitration Program in 2016, 45 lawyers
and 7 non-lawyers have agreed to serve as arbitrators, but
more are needed. If you are interested in serving, please

HOTLINE - Mark Gifford, Bar Counsel, welcomes calls
and e-mail inquiries about any ethical questions and
concerns. Please contact him at (307) 432-2106 or by e-mail
at mgifford@wyobc.org. Advice given by Bar Counsel via the
Ethics Hotline is non-binding and intended only to be
informational. However, reliance on telephonic advice may be
considered as mitigating in a disciplinary proceeding.
MENTOR
OUTREACH PROGRAM - The Mentor Outreach Program is
dedicated to providing assistance to new lawyers as they
begin their legal careers. Access the program through your
Member Login at www.wy-omingbar.org. Simply post your inquiry
and it will be routed to an experienced and knowledgeable
Wyoming lawyer who will contact you either by phone or e-mail
to provide the guidance you seek.
REFERRALS
LAWYER
REFERRAL SERVICE - Is your law firm flooded with
calls from potential clients you just can’t take on at
the moment? Please refer these people to the Wyoming State
Bar Lawyer Referral Service! This service is made up of
approximately 150 lawyers from around the state who pay the
membership fee and provide evidence of malpractice insurance
coverage to receive these referrals. The Lawyer Referral
Coordinator screens each call to determine the practice area
and area of the state before referring the caller to three
potential members.

Wyoming State Bar Lawyer Referral Service at (307)
432-2107. The members of the Lawyer Referral Service
will thank you for the referrals!
