City to present master plan for downtown.

The city of Greenville will host a public meeting on Wednesday, May 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce at 24 Cleveland St. to present the final Downtown Master Plan.

Consultants worked with a variety of downtown stakeholders, including property owners, residents, businesses, developers, philanthropies and elected officials to develop the plan, which will provide the city with a roadmap for downtown's future development and help prioritize investments going forward, according to a news release.

Last summer, the city hired Urban Design Associates, an international urban design and architecture firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., to develop a strategic master plan for downtown.
