City schedules meeting for Swamp Rabbit Trail extension plan.

The city of Greenville is hosting a kickoff meeting to discuss the Swamp Rabbit Trail Extension Master Plan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at the University Center Greenville auditorium.

The city has hired Stantec's Urban Places to develop a master plan for the area located along the planned 4.5-mile extension of the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The study area for the master plan includes private property and public rights-of-way located within approximately a quarter mile on either side of the trail's proposed route along Laurens Road from Cleveland Park to the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research, according to a news release.
