CITIES SLAMMED HARD BY UNEMPLOYMENT.

With several million jobs wiped out during the coronavirus pandemic, WalletHub has released its report on the "Cities with the Biggest Growth in Unemployment DuetoCOVID-19."

In order to identify where workers have been most affected by the coronavirus pandemic, WalletHub compared 180 cities based on how their unemployment rate has changed over time, using March 2019, January 2020, and March 2020 as its touchstones.

The 20 cities with the biggest unemployment growth are Seattle, Wash.; Hialeah, Fla.; North Las Vegas, Nev.; Miami, Fla.; Henderson, Nev.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Aurora, Colo.; Denver, Colo.; Cleveland, Ohio; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Reno, Nev.; Dover, Del.; Orlando, Fla.; Port St. Lucie, Fla.; Salt Lake City, Utah; Long Beach, Calif.; Santa Clarita, Calif.; Los Angeles, Calif.; Chicago, III.; and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
