Circus coming to 2019 S.C. State Fair.

A free daily circus will be one of the new attractions at the 150th South Carolina State Fair, set for Oct. 9-20 at the S.C. State Fairgrounds.

Themed Prize-Winning Memories, the fair will feature circus performances including high-wire artists, daredevil motorists, clowns and more in an hour-long show which will take place three times each day at a 1,300-seat big top.

There is no additional cost to attend the circus.

"We want to offer our patrons even more ways to enjoy the fair with their families this year, and this circus will combine a mix of the new with nostalgic entertainment that has captivated our state through the years," Nancy Smith, State Fair general manager, said in a news release.
