Chugach Receives Storm/Avalanche Funds.

Chugach Electric Association has received more than $1 million in federal funds to help pay for storm and avalanche damages earlier this year. A storm in late January and early February dumped snow across the Chugach service area and caused avalanches, which tore down power lines and cloaked the Seward Highway.
