With more than 14 years of temporary personnel placement experience to draw upon, Chugach Technical Services (CTS) has expanded its capabilities to include permanent placement and recruiting services.

A division of Chugach Development Corporation, CTS has three offices, one each in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Valdez, and provides personnel services in Kenai, Soldotna in addition to home office operations in Anchorage.

Beginning in July 2002, when CTS changed its name from Chugach North Technical Services, Alaska's employers have been calling upon CTS for a full range of professional assistance in both temporary and permanent personnel placement and job recruiting-all with just one call.

"Employers with job orders to fill can get help for both temporary and permanent placements," says Carol Anderson, CTS Operations Manager. "And we have now expanded to include personnel recruitment capabilities. As with all of our placements, applicants are screened and tested before referrals are made to employer clients. Each candidate completes computerized skill testing to determine efficiencies in job-related activities, including software programs and typing abilities."

CTS has direct access to Chugach Alaska Corporation's huge regional corporation shareholder base. Millie Johnson is the corporation's Shareholder Employment Coordinator and works directly with CTS as one of the suppliers of talent necessary to fulfill employer job orders.
