The bank decided to donate money to fund and build a children's playhouse in a local park, McDade Park in Lackawanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania. The action was designed to build brand identity and emphasize the fact that Fidelity Bank is the top mortgage lender in the market.

Each of the proposed designs was fully enclosed and waterproof, with operating windows, with screens, doors and hardware. The three designs were Victorian, Cape Cod and log cabin.

Local children were given the chance to visit any Fidelity branch and vote for one of the three proposed designed that they liked best. The winning playhouse, the log cabin, was built by bank employees and then unveiled at community celebration in October 2013.
