Patrick Hoogerhyde, executive chef of WildFin Seagrill in Anchorage, earned third place in the 2009 Great American Seafood Cook-Off held in New Orleans in July. WildFin Seagrill is located at 517 W. Seventh Ave., and is owned by Chris Anderson, who also owns Glacier Brewhouse and ORSO. Tory McPhail, executive chef of Commander's Palace in New Orleans, took first place.
