The FTB has expanded its "Check Your Account Balance" and "View Payments You Have Made" Web services to include applied payments.

The service allows you to view any miscellaneous payments, bill payments and return payments. Keep in mind, though, that the online records may not reflect payments made within the past 45 days because of processing time frames.
