MAIDEN -- Carolina Mills will close two factories, which together employed 189, by the end of the month. One plant here, which had 49 employees, made synthetic yarn for hosiery. De Molina, 48, had been CEO of Banc of America Securities since August. Before that, he had been president of global capital markets and investment banking since April 2004.
