Pete Rose is back home--at the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, which is celebrating the 24-year playing career of baseball's all-time hits leader with an exhibition on view through March 21, 2008. "This is a chance for Reds fans to recall the excitement and passion that Pete Rose brought to the game of baseball," explains Greg Rhodes, director of the museum. "This is about Pete's playing career, recalling what made him one of the game's best players of all-time."

"PETE" will detail Rose's career from 1963-86, spanning the years from Crosley Field to Riverfront Stadium, utilizing the gallery in the main lobby--located at Great American Ball Park, the Reds' home since 2003--and incorporating already-existing exhibits.

"We are including some new items from our own collection plus [those] from several local collectors and fans," explains Chris Eckes, the museum's curator. "We have filled several exhibit cases and there are video and audio highlights."
