On May 10, National Bank of Alaska and JCB International, owner of a credit card business serving more than 17 million Japanese, signed an agreement expanding the market for Japan's top credit card to Alaska. Purchases with the JCP credit cards are processed by NBA through its wholly owned subsidiary, Alaska Bankcard Center.
