§82.3HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT

CR 82 originated in Rule 82.041W of the Rules of Pleading Practice and Procedure (RPPP), which was adopted in 1960. RPPP 82.041W(b) was identical to current CR 82(a). RPPP 82.041W(c) was identical to current CR 82(b).

CR 82 was adopted in 1967 and consisted of subsections (a) and (b). The requirement that statutory transfer fees be paid to the transferring county clerk was added in 1975 as CR 82(c). CR 82(b), regarding waiver, was formerly CR 82(b)(1) of the rule in 1978...
