§8.3HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
CR 8 was adopted in 1967 and its language is substantially identical to FED. R. CIV. P. 8. The federal rule was promulgated in 1937 and amended to include maritime claims and defenses in 1966. Further technical amendments were made in 1987.
