§78.4 COMPARISON WITH FEDERAL RULE

CR 78 is more closely associated with Fed. R. Civ. P. 77 and Fed. R. Civ. P. 54 than Fed. R. Civ. P. 78. Fed. R. Civ. P. 78 describes the court's ability to set a regular schedule for oral hearings and the court's ability to determine motions on briefs, without oral hearings.
