§70.3HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
CR 70 became effective July 1, 1967, replacing its antecedents, 1938 Rule of Pleading Practice and Procedure (RPPP) 25; 1944 RPPP 25; 1951 RPPP 23; and 1960 RPPP 70. It has not been amended. A statutory predecessor to CR 70 is Chapter 6.28 RCW, which empowers the superior courts to appoint commissioners "to convey real estate." RCW 6.28.010.
