§68.3 HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
CR 68 was adopted by the Washington state courts on May 5, 1967, and became effective on July 1, 1967. It has not been amended. When the federal rules were adopted in 1938, offers of judgment were not available in the federal courts. The 1937 advisory committee note to FED. R. CIV.
