PETER A. BJORK claims to have been born in a one-room cabin in the backwoods of Northern Wisconsin, where he lived until going off to college. As a youngster, he says he walked 3 miles to school, often in two feet of snow in sub-zero weather, with little more than newspaper for footwear, uphill, both ways. His first memory of title work was practicing metes and bounds descriptions by writing with charcoal on the back of a shovel. Since moving to Colorado, he has been examining titles for nearly 38 years, including fee, state and federal titles in the entire Rocky Mountain area, including Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico, Utah and Idaho. He's the (very) senior shareholder of Bjork Lindley Little PC, which he co-founded in 1993. He is a member of the Bar of the States of Wisconsin, Colorado and Wyoming and is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts of those states and in the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 9th and 10th Circuits. During the Spring Semester of 1993, Peter, together with Laura Lindley, taught a natural resources law seminar as the Amax Distinguished Practitioners-in-Residence at the University of Denver College of Law. He has also been appointed as a Special Master in a case involving natural resource issues, and has recently served as an expert witness in a number of cases involving oil and gas and title issues. In his free time, Peter is a devastatingly effective angler, an acclaimed woodworker, an avid golfer with a "unique" talent for the game, and a renowned raconteur.

PETER M. NEIDHARDT is an independent landman based in Fort Collins, Colorado. His work over the past seven years has encompassed a wide variety of title projects and has taken him to six different states. Peter is also a recovering archaeologist, having spent the prior 12 years performing cultural resources compliance primarily for energy-related projects in the Rocky Mountain region. Peter graduated with a BA in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming and also received a JD from the University of Wyoming College of Law.
