§53.2.8 STRATEGIC AND PRACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS

Review of a commissioner's decision may be initiated by first filing a motion for revision before the superior court judge assigned by the court to hear revisions or by filing an appeal of the commissioner's ruling. If a motion for revision is filed, the trial court's decision upon revision is then subject to appeal. If no revision is filed within 10 days, the commissioner's ruling becomes a final decision of the superior court and any appeal filed proceeds just as if the decision had been entered by a superior court judge.
