ABOUT THE EDITORS

J. Patrick Aylward graduated from Stanford University in 1973 and from the University of Washington School of Law in 1976. He practices in Wenatchee with the firm of Jeffers, Danielson, Sonn & Aylward, P.S. His practice consists almost entirely of real estate matters, including transactional work, litigation, land use, condominium, and environmental work. He is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He has been identified several times as one of Washington's Super Lawyers by Washington Law and Politics and one of Washington's Amazing Lawyers by Washington CEO Magazine..

Thomas A. Barkewitz is a partner with Alston, Courtnage & Bassetti LLP in Seattle. His practice is concentrated in commercial real estate transactions. He is a graduate of Niagara University and Rutgers University School of Law, and served as an Assistant Editor of the Washington REAL PROPERTY DESKBOOK.

Scott J. Borth is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law (J.D. 1983) and a partner in the Seattle office of Perkins Coie LLP. His practice focuses on representing banks and other institutional lenders in all aspects of real estate finance and commercial finance, including construction lending, credit-enhanced tax-exempted bond financing, and tax-exempt private placements.
