§46.4COMPARISON WITH FEDERAL RULE
CR 46 is substantively identical to its federal counterpart, Fed. R. Civ. P. 46. The federal rule was amended in 1987, however, to make it gender neutral. It was amended again in 2007 as part of the general restyling of the federal civil rules in an effort to make them more easily understood and to enhance consistency in style and terminology consistent throughout the rules. Fed. R. Civ. P. 46 now states:
