§45.3HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
CR 45 was adopted May 5, 1967, and became effective July 1, 1967, with CR 45(a)-(d) superseding portions of Chapter 5.56 RCW. The rule was first amended on July 1, 1972. The 1972 amendments brought the rule into closer conformity with its federal counterpart, which had been amended in 1970 with respect to subpoenaing witnesses for depositions.
