§44.3HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
CR 44 was promulgated on May 5, 1967, and became effective on July 1, 1967. It superseded Rule of Pleading Practice and Procedure (RPPP) 44. It was amended in September 1985 and again in September 1993. The 1985 amendments added the phrases "trust territory" and "any state of free association within the United States" and deleted reference to "the Panama Canal Zone, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, or the Ryukyu Islands" in CR 44(a)(1).
