§4.1.7 SIGNIFICANT AUTHORITIES

Prior to adoption of CR 4.1, service by publication was permitted in domestic relations actions, but statutory requirements were to be strictly followed. A summons to initiate a dissolution action served by publication that failed to specify that property distribution was sought was deficient.
