§4.1.3 HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
CR 4.1 became effective on September 1, 1978. It was adopted to address domestic relations lawsuits brought pursuant to Chapter 26.09 RCW.
In 1980 and 1989, the rule was amended. The 1980 amendments added provisions to CR 4.1(a) relating to joint petitions and petitions in which the respondent joins.
