§ 4.10 • TRADE NAMES

Over the years, the Colorado trade name statutes have provided, at various times, for affidavits, certificates, or statements of trade name or assumed name to be recorded, filed, or registered by various persons and entities with the clerk and recorder, the secretary of state, or the department of revenue. The following sections attempt to sort out this complex history87 and the welter of definitions88 applicable to entities in Colorado.
