§31.3HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT
CR 31, formerly Rule of Pleading Practice and Procedure (RPPP) 31, was adopted on May 5, 1967. The rule was amended effective July 1, 1972, to conform to 1970 amendments of the federal rules. The 1972 amendments to the civil rules included rearrangement of the discovery rules—transferring provisions from one rule to another, including part of CR 26(a) to CR 31(a).
