§30.5PURPOSE AND PROCEDURE

CR 30 addresses the logistics of scheduling and conducting depositions. This rule sets forth the procedures to schedule and notice depositions and compel attendance of witnesses and production of documents; it also speaks to the conduct of the deposition. This rule must be read in conjunction with CR 26 through 29 and CR 31 through 33. Subpoenas for attendance of nonparty deponents at depositions are addressed in Chapter 45. (Rule 45. Subpoena) of this deskbook.
