§2A.5 PURPOSE AND PROCEDURE

CR 2A is intended to avoid disputes about whether parties or counsel have reached a final agreement and give certainty and finality to stipulations that have been made. In re Marriage of Coy, 160 Wn.App. 797, 804, 248 P.3d 1101 (2011); see also Eddleman v. McGhan, 45 Wn.2d 430, 432, 275 P.2d 729 (1954) (discussing predecessor to CR 2A).
