• http:// www.kbb.com ; http://www.edmunds.com : These are two of the more popular resources for valuing used cars. The more data you can provide about the car (VIN number, major options, mileage, etc.), the more accurate the valuation will be.

• http://www.personal.fidelity.com. ; http://www.morningstar.com ; http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com : These websites are useful for obtaining additional details about publicly-traded stock and mutual funds, including ticker symbols, CUSIP numbers, and dividend history.

• http://www.evpsys.com ; http://www.appraisenj.com ; http://www.financialdata.com : These paid services produce IRS-approved valuation reports for date of death and alternate valuation date values of publicly-traded securities.

• http://www.savingsbonds.gov : This U.S. Treasury website provides forms and instructions for liquidating or transferring all series of U.S. savings bonds in a decedent's name.
