§19.4 Sample Rules and Regulations

Any rules and regulations should be drafted for the particular type of dwelling unit. Rules applicable to the rental of a single-family residence may not be equally appropriate for an apartment building. Rules and regulations should be included in the rental agreement or clearly incorporated in the rental agreement by reference and attached as an appendix. The following rules might be useful in an apartment building or might be applicable to a single-family residence as well.
