§ 19.1 • INTRODUCTION

Note: Effective August 10, 2022, the General Assembly substantially amended and expanded C.R.S. § 8-2-113(2). Agreements entered into before that date continue to be governed by the version of the statute set forth above and discussed in the bulk of this chapter. Agreements entered into or renewed on or after August 10, 2022 are governed by the amended statute. Section 19.2.11 provides an overview of the statutory amendments. As to agreements entered into or renewed on or after August 10, 2022, many of the sections of this chapter beginning with § 19.2.2 are out of date and must be read in conjunction with § 19.2.11.
