§ 15.15 • ACTIONS BETWEEN REPRESENTATIVES

Subject to statutory exceptions, unless the will provides otherwise, the action of all co-representatives is required in connection with the administration and distribution of the estate.⁸³ But if one representative is suspected of misconduct, the other representative or representatives may act. For example, where a co-representative is taking control of a corporation largely owned by the estate and is despoiling the corporation, another co-representative may seek receivership and injunctive relief.⁸⁴
