§14.26 ALTA U.S. POLICY

The ALTA U.S. Policy (9-28-91) (see Form 14-12 on the CD accompanying this deskbook) is satisfactory to various agencies of the federal government and the U.S. Postal Service when either a fee title or an easement is being acquired by purchase or condemnation. This U.S. policy is similar to the ALTA Owner's Policy. The ALTA Commitment form is issued prior to closing.
