§13.4COMPARISON WITH FEDERAL RULE

The 2007 amendments to the federal rules introduced numerous "stylistic" differences between Washington CR 13 and Fed. R. Civ. P. 13. Nonetheless, CR 13(a)-(e) and (g)-(i) are substantively similar to the federal rule, and Washington courts continue to look to the federal rule for guidance in interpreting the equivalent CR 13 subsections. See Lane v. Skamania County, 164 Wn.App. 490, 500, 265 P.3d 156 (2011).
