§ 10.6 • EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS CLAIMED ON PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS

C.R.S. § 38-26-110 is similar to the excessive claim statute under the mechanics' lien laws, C.R.S. § 38-22-138. C.R.S. § 38-26-110 is written a little more broadly, to include persons who file excessive verified claims or assert excessive claims against a principal or surety that has furnished a bond under the public works statute.
