The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
(1) Act—Texas Labor Code, Chapter 61, also known as the Texas Payday Act or the Texas Payday Law.
(2) Claimant—A person who has filed a wage claim under the Act.
