4-34 § 21.110. Discrimination Based on National Origin

A provision in this chapter referring to discrimination because of national origin or on the basis of national origin includes discrimination because of or on the basis of the national origin of an ancestor.

4-34:1 Commentary

4-34:1.1 National Origin Includes Origin of an Ancestor

The definition of national origin, unlike the federal provision, includes the national origin of an ancestor. National origin claims are treated as are other discrimination claims.
