§16.1 INTRODUCTION

This chapter describes the decision-making authority of the appellate court, the types of decisions an appellate court may make, the procedural implications of each type of decision, reconsideration, and publication of appellate court decisions. The effect of the appellate court's decision on subsequent proceedings is discussed in Chapter 20.
