§10.8 REVIEW OF THE CHIEF JUSTICE'S RULING

When the chief justice determines a motion, his or her decision should be modifiable in the same fashion as a decision of the commissioner. See WASH. CONST. art. IV, §2 (majority vote of a quorum required for decision of Supreme Court). Thus, an aggrieved party should seek modification of a ruling by the chiefjustice by filing a motion to modify with the Supreme Court within 10 days of the date the ruling was filed. See, e.g., Wash.
