The ATHENA Foundation of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to creating leadership opportunities for women. The prestigious ATHENA Award Programs recognize individuals and companies on local, state, national and international levels.
The Anchorage ATHENA Society awards scholarships (covering travel, accommodations and camp tuition fees) each year for local girls (ages 13-18) to attend the Camp $tart-Up business camp. This year three Alaska women were sent to the camp.
