CFO Strategies Inc. has announced the launch of SOX Compliance Manager™, its first product, a comprehensive Web-based toolkit that it says significantly reduces the cost and complexity associated with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

The San Diego-based firm, formed several years ago, is going after non-accelerated filers who have had significant problems complying with the internal control requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, said CEO Jerry Hutter in an interview. SOX Compliance Manager incorporates CFO Strategies' field-tested project management methodology to help companies accelerate Sarbanes-Oxley implementation, identify the areas of highest reporting risk and automate the compliance process.

"The solution deploys quickly, is user-friendly, and structured to fit the needs of any budget," the company said in an announcement.

The application was created as a hosted, Software as a Service (SaaS) product. It includes:

* A customizable archive of best-practice compliance documentation spanning all major business and IT processes.
