CASTLE ROCK IS RECEIVING WEEKLY NATIONAL attention thanks to CYNTHIA McKAY, CEO of Le Gourmet Gift Basket Inc. McKay was chosen by USA Today as one of five CEOs to critique the behavior of the contestants and Donald Trump's management style on the TV show "The Apprentice." McKay receives a copy of the show prior to airing and is sworn to secrecy through an airtight contract with NBC. The penalty for spilling the beans is $1 million. She'll be critiquing the show for 10 weeks.

Denver Telecom Professionals named Qwest Communications Chairman and CEO RICHARD C. NOTEBAERT as Denver Telecom Executive of the Year. Notebaert was selected from a pool of 10 nominees.

TOM STRICKLAND, former U.S. Attorney for Colorado who twice ran for the U.S. Senate, has been named managing partner of Hogan & Hartson's Denver law office. Strickland will be responsible for the management and strategic direction of the firm's 100-person Denver office and also participate in overall management of the firm. Strickland joined Hogan & Hartson in early 2003. He replaces TY COBB, who has served as managing partner of the Denver office for the last five years, and who will continue on as head of the firm's white collar and investigations group and as a litigation practice group director.
