Business leaders from around the world recognize that strong risk management practices can directly impact an organization's ability to grow, innovate and achieve strategic objectives. But strong risk management does not happen by itself. That is why RIMS is pleased to honor the professionals and chapters that are using their knowledge and expertise to further their organizational goals and help empower the entire risk management community every day.

We are proud to recognize the 2019 RIMS Risk Manager of the Year Luke Figora for his notable risk management program at Northwestern University, and David Stills from Walmart Inc. as the newest member of the Risk Management Honor Roll.

For her accomplishments throughout her impressive career, Debra Rodgers is being honored with the Harry and Dorothy Goodell Award. Named in honor of RIMS' first president, the award pays tribute to an individual who has furthered the goals of the society and the risk management discipline through outstanding service and achievement.

RIMS also recognizes the exceptional work of its chapter leaders, like 2019 Ron Judd "Heart of RIMS" honoree Gordon Adams of RIMS Orange County Chapter, as well as the outstanding chapters that were honored with Enhancing Chapter Outcomes (ECHO) awards.
